We are a South Charlotte based motorsports organization currently focused on  outdoor  karting.   We  race  karts  ourselves using our own equipment. 

 

Being an autoracer is a childhood dream.  Sometimes those dreams need to be put on hold for life... then they can be realized when you have some disposable income!=)

 

It started innocently enough at a corporate event at Victory Lane Indoor Karting north of Charlotte, NC.  At that event I found a flyer for league nights... and the rest is history.  I started racing league in early 2012 in the Novice division.  Raced two eight-week seasons in Novice and kept improving finishing 5th the first season then 3rd the next.  From there I jumped to Pro-Lightweight and had the same progression.

 

After that, it was time to purchase my own equipment and move outdoors.  I started in the Yamaha KT100 class in 2012 which I won (track champion at Carolina Motorsports Park.  In 2013 I moved up to the most popular class... Rotax Senior Max.  Going from a kart capable of 75 mph to a kart capable of over 100mph was an adjustment to say the least.  The first half of the season was a learning experience, but if finally clicked at the half-way mark, and the second half of the season was all podiums plus a victory which was enough to finish the season 2nd.  In 2014 & 2015 several of us moved to the Maxxis Senior Max challenge which run 4-stroke Briggs engines.  Much less cost, much more fun.
